Sick Day? Maybe not...

Dear Ones,

I must have had one of those 24 hour bugs and mistook the first 12 hours of it for a hangover?
Not sure, but I feel so much better now. Hooooray!

I'm not much for talking today, so I'll just put up some lovely pictures.
Have a great Saturday night!

Remains of the Day

Glug Glug Glug, I love this stuff

She drinks like a fish

New H&M mag, new threads - literally- and new ORLY "Petit Four" nail paint.

I think I might go back and buy some pink and/or purple thread as well on Sunday w/coupon (thrifty, eh?)

My paper bracelet says I'm a VIP, does this mean I can get things for free?

Dear Ones,

It's only times like these in which I am SO glad I don't have a job to report to. Late fun nights with don't = perky mornings.

Oh well.

Moving on.

Shall we talk about movies today?
What movies and/or films (can someone PLEASE tell me the difference so I don't have to wallow in this ignorance any longer...)have made a truly lasting impression on your lives?

Some of my most recently discovered favorites are:

Network
Fur
Candy
Book of Eli
A Serious Man
Paris is Burning (I know, I mentioned this before)
Georgy Girl
Basquiat
Leap Year (just kidding--this was a decently horrid movie I saw with my mom)
Hollywood Boulevard

But I need some recommendations, so the

+++++QUESTION OF THE DAY++++++

is

What movies/films would you deem a must-see before one dies?

CURRENT OBSESSIONS:

-1-Rihanna's oh-so 80's "Rude Boy," and "Hard"
-2-Notion of Little Red Riding Hood, maybe minus the red, adding a cigarette and severe indifference.
-3-Hoods and boots
-4-Androgyny
-5-Sleeping masks (a must have for hangovers, and now a justified e-bay purchase)
-6-ARIZONA beverages (can and bottle artwork/design = gorgeously tacky)

Have a fabulous day and I'll put up some pictures to put a smile, sly grin, or smug but quietly impressed look on your face ... hey, let's go for all of the above, why not? It's Friday folks!

I think I'm 97% Fickle...but maybe not.

Dear Ones,

Have you ever disclosed far more information to those around you and then really really wish that you hadn't?
Well, it's a well known fact that saying, "I take it back," or "forget I ever said that," does absolutely nothing to the human memory.
I am suffering with that scenario today. My fickle nature gets me into trouble a lot and there ends up being a lot of apologizing, confusion, frustration, occasional rage, and the inevitable day-after explanations.

Thankfully, most of the people around me have come to know this mostly unpleasant trait of mine, and don't deny me or shun me on the streets. Not that I see a lot of people out walking on the streets in Minnesota...in the winter. If I do, they're bundled up beyond recognition, so I suppose it is very probable that they are indeed shunning me in that kind, Minnesota-Nice way.

Anyway.
I still feel sad that Alexander McQueen is dead. I just started getting into fashion, so I don't know that much about him, but from what I've read and seen the man was quite a genius.

+++++QUESTION OF THE DAY+++++++

How fickle are you?
(True fickle-feinds need not respond, as you can only answer ONCE. ;)

Current Obsessions:

-1- Still Green Tea
-2- Bows (for hair, shoes, as a shape, etc.)

But today, I am optimistic. So have a fantastic day, fall in love, accept your nature whether it be fickle, not so fickle, or never been fickle, and let's look at some pictures!
Let the inspiration crash over you like a gentle wave, or like that nausea that hits you when you're on a cruise ship that goes over many a gentle and not so gentle wave.

ACNE shoes are rediculously cool, and expensive.

"They Shoot Horses, Don't They?" Is on my must-see film list.

CheaterCheaterPumpkinEater

Dear Ones,

Someone told me I had a "Snow White look going on" last night at the club, so I feel better about my bangs, which is such a relief to so many of you out there. yuk yuk yuk.

Today's obsessions:
-1-Organic Green Tea
-2- Fiona Apple (good for a male bashing mood)
-3-... peeing a lot from drinking so much Organic Green Tea.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:

Is it better revenge to live well and move on, or to do something really horrible and painful and just incredibly heinous to that person?

(And or, as usual, what are your current obsessions?)

(ewwwww...green tea kit kats??)

vroom vroom, let's go to new mexico, okay?

Missing Valentine's Day

Dear Ones.

I quite often feel like I'm the only person on the planet who actually LOVES Valentine's day. Yes, I'm a girl, but oh so very un-girly when it comes to wearing pink and ribbons, etc.
I had a good V-day this year, but I'm afraid it was so good, that I miss it too much now that it's gone.

As a result, I'm in a decidedly bad mood (among other reasons: a friend got married and I had to find out through facebook pictures, and I may have made a big mistake giving myself bangs, yet again...)

But I'm drinking coffee, may have a new job by Friday, and I found some truly effective butt workouts. No room for a rain cloud above my head with all that positivity, right?

Question of the day:

++++++++WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB?++++++++
or
++WHAT ARE YOUR 3 CURRENT OBSESSIONS?++

My answers: A Professional Listener. People would pay me big bucks to listen to them rant or rave. I would guarantee to never disclose their deepest darkest secrets, like a priest, and they would have the choice at the end of getting either a hug, a minute worth of my insight, or a pat on the back and a lollipop or a double shot of whiskey.

3 Current Obsessions: Film "Paris is Burning," dill weed, & Cocorosie's "Werewolf"

Lovely Things, & Blessings.
