Au Natural or Faux Natural?

Dear Ones,

As a female who chooses to wear makeup daily, I often find myself wanting to scrap the whole thing and never wear the stuff again because of the time, and cost. But it's fun for me, and I enjoy the art of it, so I continue.
But I can't help but want to move down to Arizona where I never wear makeup because it's so dang hot and the dry air and sunshine always does wonders for my bare skin.

QUESTION OF THE DAY:

What do you think about makeup? ( in any context )

OBSESSIONS:
-1- Wearing lots of rings and bracelets again (screw winter and it's conduction of cold through metal)
-2- Jogging
-3- My vitamins
-4- Cleaning (what a shocker!)

Happy Saturday!

PS All my Peppermint Schnapps is gone...is the peach flavor any good?

  1. Guess you should have sprung for the larger bottle! I've never had Peach Schnapps, but I've heard it's delicious :P

Makeup: too expensive but I love it anyway so I make it a priority in my budget.

For years I have fought against my mother (and myself) for liking the practice of painting my face, because that is literally what I do. I use brushes for liquid and powder. I draw lines with pencil and brush out my lashes and brows. I like ornamentation. BUT I also like keeping it "simple" and faux natural (not stand-out eyeshadow or liner for instance) is what I appreciate most. Makeup provides a glow that my dry skin cannot compete with... or without.
